Sorry, I have not received this pattern yet. On Jan 23, 2025 ordered 31 Days to Simpler Living, Make Your Own Mixes, and Cloth Pads Pattern using VISA card, paid $15.94 and January 30 a $5 charge, that was when I tried again. ending -0314. Did make paper copies for Simpler Living and Own Mixes. They are fine. Tried to make paper copy of Cloth Pads- lots of trouble. Found comment if having trouble contact- thought I wrote a nice note and still have not heard from anyone as of 3/2/25. As I explained no one to help help me with this order. I do not remember ever seeing this type orange con and change paper size before on computer order. (Have only been ordering for about two years, usually do so by phone after looking online. (As a four score older person I am trying my best. There are no 14 year olds on my block to assist me! LOL) Waited several days , thought about what I had done and tried again. 1/30 paid $5.00 and did not work for me. And looking at my card statement for February and another $5.00 charge for made on January 30th . And still no pads pattern. After making first order in January did start 31 Day program- then got really sick from head to toe! Finally doing better and really needing pads pattern. Can I at least have directions for sewing layers and will draw out pattern myself? Any help will be appreciated.
Realize you are having baby any time. Have enjoyed your hints and other information on line. Now to hear rest of your news.
Here are a couple of ideas I have not seen in your "news reports." I make my oatmeal with tea or apple juice instead of milk. Like much better.
I do not have a clothes dryer-too expensive and clothes "age " faster with heat. Friend telling how her husband only likes towels that are soft. Tried to explain by not using softeners I can "exfoliate" my skin naturally. Think women like this better than men!
Another hint I have used for many years is washing wool sweaters when they shrink. Woolite and other harsh soaps are very hard on natural fibers. First time I was given a cute blue wool sweater that had been in a hot washer and shrunk! It was now about 4 sizes smaller and was considered unsalvageable. Told by lady at laundromat to wash with hair shampoo in warm water, small amount of hair conditioner, rinse, place on towel and gently stretch. Let dry. I did this about four times and wore the sweater for a long time. After, I washed other sweaters, silk blouses, and wool shirts the same way. No cleaners smell and always soft.
